I had a dream
I know the title is pretty corny and has been over used in the past, but there is nothing wrong in stating the obvious, and without deams and aspirations, none of us would do anything at all, and find barriers to doing something that we have spent hours daydreaming about
Well 10 years or so ago, me and Helen had the pleasure of embarking upon a holiday that to most people seemed to be a bit of a dream, we both had similar interests in most things that we did together, and I was deeply into exercise and keep fit and relaxation and meditation, mostly driven by my passion for martial art
We had already decided that we would like to do something 'different' for our holiday as we had spent numerous years rambling over Dartmoor and the Lake District, and wanted to go abroad.
It was only when unable to get a booking in Thailand that I picked up Helen's vegetarian magazine and started browsing it, and I noticed an advert for a yoga retreat holiday in a medieval village in the mountains north of Rome. Now I know these types of holiday venues do tend to attract what I term as 'strange' people
